Der Indie-Entwickler Camel 101 erhält Unterstützung in Form des Publisher Wired Productions um seinen „Lovecraft“-Horror-Shooter Beneath zu veröffentlichen. Ab sofort [Februar 2025] läuft außerdem ein Playtest, für den ihr euch hier anmelden könnt.
Update: einen neuen Trailer zum Spiel findet ihr auf YouTube. Außerdem wurde der nächste Playtest angekündigt, Start am 15. Mai 2025.

Shooter schickt uns unter Wasser
Der Entwickler Camel 101 hat mit Beneath sein neues Spiel angekündigt. Wir schlüpfen in die Rolle von Noah Quinn, seines Zeichens Tiefseetaucher. Gesteuert wird der Horrortitel aus der Ego-Perspektive. Unsere Aufgabe ist es aus einer gefährlichen Unterwasserwelt zu entkommen. Dazu verwenden wir Waffengewalt und unseren Verstand, der hoffentlich geistig gesund bleibt. Munition ist rar gesät also sollten wir darauf achten das jeder Schuss sein Ziel auch trifft. Immer wieder werden wir unser Köpfchen einsetzen müssen um bestimmte Situationen mit Monstern zu überleben.
Das Spiel selbst wird auf dem PC via Steam und für die Konsolen XBox Series X|S und PS5 erscheinen. Geplant ist der Release irgendwann in 2024.
