Der Release wurde fixiert
Der Indie-Entwickler PARASIGHT hat den Release von Davy x Jones fixiert. Der Shooter erscheint somit am 28. August 2025 auf dem PC via Steam als Early Access-Variante zum passenden Aktionspreis von 6,66€.

But there’s already plenty of quality content to dive into: the first several islands of this adventure, with a core combat system, and a darkly enchanting pirate underworld ready to be plumbed. We’re a small crew of around 20 people, and every piece of feedback helps us refine and expand the game. Together with our community, we’re determined to make the final release a story worth telling.”

Doom trifft auf (Weltraum)-Piraten
Der Entwickler Parasight (Blacktail) hat mit Davy x Jones seinen neuen Ego Shooter angekündigt. Die Optik trifft sofort, sie wirkt bösartig überzeichnet, mit einem Touch Comic-Look. Der brachiale Enthüllungstrailer verspricht dabei knochenharte Action wie in DOOM.
In diesem Abenteuer verkörpern wir den legendären Piraten Davy Jones. Leider gibt es dabei aber ein Problem. Wir befinden uns im „Reich der Toten“ und zu allem übel, sind wir auch noch kopflos. Zum „Glück“ begleitet uns ständig der Kopf „Davy“. Unser Endziel lautet: unseren ewigen Widersacher „Blackbeard“ zu finden und ihn zu vernichten.
Damit das gelingt, müssen wir den „Locker“ durchqueren, ein surreales Piratenhöllenreich welches sich über neun Inseln erstreckt. Zwischen den Inseln reisen wir mit „Abby“, einen Hybrid aus Wal und Seeschiff. Klingt irre fantastisch. Davy x Jones wird auf dem PC via Steam erscheinen und kann bereits auf eure Wunschliste gepackt werden.
