Release auf dem PC
Ab sofort ist das düstere Adventure Broken Pieces auf dem PC via Steam und Epic Games Store erhältlich. Der Entwickler Elseware Experience und der Publisher Freedom Games werden die Konsolen-Fassung (XBox Series X|S, XBox One, PS4 und PS5) am 31. Oktober 2022, also pünktlich zu Halloween, veröffentlichen.
In diesem Spiel schlüpfen wir in die Rolle von Elise, die beschlossen hat, die Stadt zu verlassen. Also zieht sie und ihr Verlobter an die Küste von Frankreich um dort ein ruhigeres Leben zu genießen. Doch es kommt alles ganz anders, die Szenerie ist düster und wir sind auf uns allein gestellt. Ein eigenartiger Kult treibt in der Region Saint-Exil sein Unwesen. Werden wir das Geheimnis lüften und entkommen können?

“The mystery of Broken Pieces is out now and calls you all to solve it”, said Mael Vignaux, Project Lead of Elseware Experience. “The sense of isolation was our biggest focus and we have explored that in a number of ways one only can in video games. There is little to no background music, no NPCs to keep you company, just a portable camera that feels like it’s stalking you through the town. I think everyone can relate to that emotion and being able to convey what Elise is also feeling is something we hope people can really empathize with.”
