Free Play-Event 2020:
Anlässlich des Events „Intergalactic Aerospace Expo (IAE) 2950“ kann Star Citizen aktuell kostenlos gespielt werden. Ab sofort und bis zum 02. Dezember 2020 kann das Weltraum-Epos getestet werden. Insgesamt können 100 unterschiedliche Raumschiffe Probe geflogen werden. Zum ersten mal überhaupt steuerbar ist der Mercury Star Runner.
Alpha 3.11 & Halloween-Event
Star Citizen feiert bald seinen 8ten Geburtstag. Passend zu dieser Party hat Cloud Imperium Games das Alpha-Update 3.11 veröffentlicht. Außerdem finden am Wochenende Giveaways statt und es wird ein Halloween-Event gestartet. Einen genauen Zeitplan findet man auf der offiziellen Homepage.
Mit dabei im Update sind unter anderem drei neue Starterschiffe der Origin 100er-Serie, Sicherheitskräfte auf Raumstationen, neue Waffen und UI-Verbesserungen. Die kompletten Patchnotes findet man im offiziellen Blog. Zusätzlich wurde ein neuer Teaser zu Squadron 42 veröffentlicht. Zu sehen bekommen wir einen Flug durch die Aciedo-Raumstation.
Das Halloween-Event “Day of the Vara” ist bereits am Laufen und endet am 31. Oktober 2020.
