Ab sofort ist Song of Horror auch für die PS4 verfügbar. Die Version für die XBox One befindet sich gerade in der Zertifizierung und wird zeitnah veröffentlicht werden.

„Every survival-horror fan knows that some of the biggest games in the genre’s history made their name on console, so bringing Song of Horror to PlayStation and Xbox was the logical next step after the game’s successful run on PC,” says studio co-founder Carlos Grupeli. “We can’t wait to see the reaction of console gamers once they get their hands on it .”

Physische Deluxe Edition für PS4
Protocol Games und Raiser Games haben die Deluxe Edition von Song of Horror angekündigt. Die physische Box wird von Meridiem Games gefertigt und wird im Sommer 2021 für die PS4 erscheinen.

Nachdem Song of Horror auf dem PC ein großer Erfolg war, folgt nun die Umsetzung für XBox- und Playstation-Konsolen. Der Release wurde ebenfalls fixiert, das Horror-Abenteuer erscheint am 28. Mai 2021.

„We,ve always been incredibly humbled by the reception Song of Horror received from PC players, and now’s the time to drag console players into the brooding mystery the game has to offer,” says studio co-founder Carlos Grupeli. “The survival-horror genre has such a long & rich history on both PlayStation and Xbox that it feels like absolutely the right home for our little ode to all that has gone before to an audience that truly appreciates real scares.”

Protocol Games und Raiser Games feiern sich selbst und zwar in Form eines Accolades-Trailer zu Song of Horror. Die Presse scheint sich einig zu sein, ein Pflichtprogramm für jeden Horror-Fan. Kann man im Grunde genommen nur zustimmen auch wenn ein paar kleinere Schwächen den großartigen Gesamteindruck trüben – unser Test.
