Vor kurzem wurde Cryptical Path angekündigt und schon hat der Entwickler Old Skull Games eine Demo-Version veröffentlicht. Der Rogutelite-Dungeon Crawler kann ab sofort auf dem PC via Steam angespielt werden. Wir sind in einem Labyrinth gefangen und sollen einen Ausgang finden. Die Planung und die Charakteranpassung (Fähigkeiten) erfolgt auf einer Übersichtskarte und die Action spielt sich dann seitlich scrollend ab. „For the first time in a rogue-lite game, players can have an impact, to an extent, on the actual procedural generation of the game itself. Our goal is to provide players with tools to mess with established rules of the genre,“ said Jérémy Boisson, game director at Old Skull Games. „In Cryptical Path, players can modify the dungeon by building rooms in real-time and be really creative with it, reducing randomness while adding a strategic layer.“
