Thunderful hat die Fortsetzung SteamWorld Heist II angekündigt und dabei wurde auch direkt der Release fixiert. Das Spiel erscheint somit am 08. August 2024 auf dem PC via Steam und für die Konsolen XBox Series X|S, XBox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4 und PS5. Wieder mit dabei ist natürlich das einzigartige Kampfsystem das Rundenbasierte- und Echtzeitkämpfe kombiniert.
